Polimekanos is a graphic design practice based in London and Vienna, and works across a variety of media, from visual identities, books, exhibition design, websites and wayfinding to public realm work. The studio has a reputation for a working method that is research-led, that allows place, history and the immediate context to inform the design process, and that is at the same time open to unusual references, interdisciplinary and contemporary discourses. Polimekanos was founded in 2001 by Stefan Kraus and Joseph Kohlmaier.
